Siphamandla Zondi

Siphamandla Zondi is a catalytic speaker, seasoned leader, teacher and a mentor of young people, committed to helping others rediscover their citizen-leadership. Zondi has 15 years of experience in intellectual leadership and thought leadership in the NGO and academic environment. As a trustee in the International Third World Leaders Association (ITWLA) founded by the late Dr Myles Munroe, he has taught on leadership in various parts of the world. As a commissioner of the National Planning Commission of South Africa appointed by the state president, a Social Cohesion Advocate on behalf of the South African Minister of Arts and Culture, and a councilor in the South Africa Council on International Relations appointed by the Minister for International Relations and Cooperation, Zondi plays a critical role in shaping long-term thinking and planning in South Africa. As a member of the SADC RISDP Task Force and an African Union Task Team on Post-Conflict and Reconstruction, he is part of a group of agents of change in Africa. He currently heads the Institute for Global Dialogue, a renown think tank on global affairs and a faculty in the Thabo Mbeki African Leadership Institute. He holds BA, BA Honours and Higher Diploma in Education by the University of Durban-Westville; and a Masters and Doctorate from Cambridge University, UK. He and his wife, Nomusa, are blessed with two daughters, Thando and Enhle, plus many other adopted mentees.
